Upon a submission attempt, if the data on your form has not met the minimum requirements and/or information has been entered incorrectly, you receive the following error:

"The data on this form appears to be incomplete or invalid, please review errors and requirements in order to complete this step."

  • How do I find the errors on my form?

    After your submission attempt (or selection of the Check for Errors button) all errors will be displayed on the form. Carefully review each section of the form for the error messages (displayed in red text).

  • How do I fix the errors on my form?

    Each error message displayed will detail the issue on your form. Common errors include blank or missing information on required fields. Here some examples/solutions to common errors:

    • Error states I must enter (#) years for my employment/education history.

      This error message indicates that you did not meet the requirement for the number of years requested. Review the instructions to see how many years are required. For example, if the field requires 10 years of history and the current date is 1/1/2016, you would need to provide Employment/Education history dating back to 1/1/2006.

    • Error states my information is "incomplete or invalid".

      This message indicates that information has not been entered for all the required fields (required fields are noted with a yellow arrow) or the information has not been entered in an acceptable format. Review the form for any messages showing in red, indicating the field is blank or the information entered is not correct.

    • Error states "invalid city/state/zip code combination"

      This error message indicates that the City/State/Zip code entered on the form is not correct. Please verify the information in the city, state, and zip code fields, ensuring all fields have been entered correctly (extra attention should be applied to the city spelling and zip code entered). The error message may also indicate what cities are valid for the zip code you have entered. If your error persists, you may verify the address information via the United States Postal Service website.

Each document which requires a signature will include an Esign task within the Cisive system. Once selected, your document will be presented for review.

Once you access the document, review all of your information carefully as you will not have an opportunity to edit the document once it has been signed. Next, locate the green "Click here to sign" image (pictured below).

Please note: the signature field is not always on the last page of your document.

You will be prompted to draw your signature electronically (with your mouse, trackpad or touch screen device).

Next, select the "Sign" button to accept your signature and enter your personal password. Lastly, select "Sign" once more to apply your signature to the document.

Documents can be supplied to Cisive via various methods depending on your preference. Click the links below for detailed instructions for each available option:

Cisive's state of the art onboarding system makes it easy to identify the status of your account. Once you have logged in, a progress bar will be presented at the top of your page. As you complete your required tasks the progress bar will begin to fill until you have reached 100% completion.

If your progress bar has reached 100%, you have completed all required steps. Congratulations! If Cisive needs anything else from you, you will receive an email notification with a link to return to your account.

If your progress bar is less than 100%, there are still some items which require your attention. We've made it easy for you to identify the next step by creating the "Task Wizard". The Task Wizard will guide you through each step of the process. Simply log into your account and select the "Start Task Wizard" button at the top of the page. A window will be presented which will identify your next task. Simply follow the on screen instruction until your progress bar reaches 100% complete.
